Recipe : Famous Pinch Cake ( Kue Cubit )
A Pinch cake or kue cubit is one of traditional cake from Indonesia. This cake is very simple and easy to made. You can find many pinch cake hawkers in Indonesia. The innovation of the pinch cake it can be made as matcha flavour with adding matcha powder to the dough. But here the simple pinch cake recipe and if you want to experiment, you can just add any flavour that you want :)
Main Ingredient :
- 100 gr flour
- 100 gr sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 coconut milk
- 100 ml water
- 1/2 choco powder (optional ) ( you can change with matcha powder or any powder flavour you want)
- A pinch of baking powder
- Margarin
- Vanilli
- Chocolate ceres, Choco chip, Cheese ( As a topping, you may choose which one you want)
How To Make :
- Mix the sugar and egg for 3 minutes.
- Add flour, coconut milk, baking powder, vanilli and water. Mix it well.
- If you want made the flavour, you can add choco or matcha powder and mix well.
- Put the batter to a cake mold which already smeared with margarin.
- Roast on the low heat for 5 - 10 minutes.
- while the cake is half cooked, you can add the topping so it will get a melty texture.
- Your Pinch Cake ready to serve!
